The 1951 Festival of Britain was an inspiring event designed to put Britain back on its feet after the ravages of the Second World War. Marc looks at its legacy and effect on post-war Britain through the development of design, architecture and art.
Marc is in his 23rd year as a specialist on the BBC Antiques Roadshow and has appeared on numerous television and radio programmes. He regularly writes for mainstream magazines and is an author, antiques consultant and lecturer.
