‘The good, the bad and the ugly’ – all three are to be found within Victorian furniture. The principal styles: Grecian, Gothic, Elizabethan, Louis XIV, Italian – making sense of these and the various other styles of this period will, if nothing else, be fun!

Janusz has lectured on antique furniture for many years, and as an Arts Society lecturer since 1982. His lectures seek to explain furniture in terms of the skills and materials employed in its design and construction, and also its socio-economic significance.
